Coming Up On Anime Watcher/Manga Reader

Hey, out there.  It's been a while.  After all, it's not easy being an adult and still watching anime and reading manga.  You know, life happens.  But that's not what you came for.  You came for a review.  While I won't be doing that this time around, I do have a number of things lined up.  I can't make promises about the exact order of things, but these are the things coming as I look to hit the ground running once again.

I have a number of manga reviews in the pipeline.  Blue Lock, Run On Your New Legs, Asadora, and others.  I even have some naughtier stuff in the pipeline, like Ero Ninja Scrolls.  So, yeah, I'll be playing the field with manga.

I have quite a bit of anime lined up as well.  A lot of it is obscure, but there will be a few big ones or relatively big ones, too.  I also have a few live-action adaptation reviews planned, like Ruroni Kenshin.

Of course, I can't forget my personal opinion pieces, like my Cool Characters and Anime Hotties/Cuties line of entries.  I'll also be introducing a new line of entries; Statue reviews.

So, yeah, it's going to be a busy time here at Anime Watcher/Manga Reader.  Hopefully you'll join me for all the fun.  I certainly intend to provide that fun.  Strap in and let's all enjoy anime and manga together.

Tan, blonde, scantily-clad, and obsessed with meat.  These things all describe Food Wars' Ikumi Mito...or Nikumi as she's called in the manga...or Meat-Meat as the anime calls her.  No matter what you call her, she's the same girl. Anime Hotties: Yaeko Minegasaki

Do you like young professional women?  Do you like women with purple hair?  Do you like Food Wars, but can't find an adult female to drool over?  Well, guess what?  She exists.  Her name is Yaeko Minegasaki. Yaeko Minegasaki isn't that hard to miss.  She's the first REAL threat Soma Yukihira faces in his quest to become a top-class chef.  She an urban planner and, as such, she's the devil. Soma is not impressed. She's a cool, mature woman.  She knows she's sexy and she's not afraid to use what she's got to get what she wants. A confident Minegasaki attempting to turn on the charm. Anime Hotties: Mayumi Nishikino

Kawai Complex is a hilarious anime with a few cute girls.  Introducing Mayumi Nishikino, Kawai Complex's washed-up veteran of love. Mayumi Nishikino, a full-fledged working woman who can't find love. Mayumi is a total bitch.  She's frustrated by her inability to find love, jealous when others find it, and happy when others break up.  It's pathetic, really. It doesn't take much to make her angry. It doesn't matter whether you're nine-years old or pushing thirty like her, if you piss her off, you'll here about it...or feel it. This is what happens when you make her angry. Mayumi and her rival, Sayaka, having a friendly quarrel. Mayumi lives to do four things:  Be depressed, drink, fight, and make others miserable.
