Kakegurui Twin Review

Well, it's happened.  Kakegurui has a spinoff/prequel.  Even better, it stars an intriguing character.  This is Kakegurui Twin.


Kakegurui Twin is, as mentioned before, a prequel to the main series.  That means we get to see the state of the school before Yumeko comes in and screws with the student council.  Yep, Yumeko isn't the main character.  Instead, it's the other main girl, Mary Saotome.  So we're already off to a good start.

So, what does Ms. Mary do.  Gamble.  What else?  Prequel or not, it's still Kakegurui.  Mary takes her lumps, gets her revenge, makes friends, and looks hot doing it.

The main series has taught us that asshole can look innocent.

Kakegurui Twin looks interesting.  Mary is my favorite character, so it's nice to see her branch out.  I look forward to seeing what kind of assholes she'll encounter on her way to becoming Yumeko's first victim.  Check it out, especially if you like Mary or Kakegurui in general.

Kawai Complex is a hilarious anime with a few cute girls.  Introducing Mayumi Nishikino, Kawai Complex's washed-up veteran of love. Mayumi Nishikino, a full-fledged working woman who can't find love. Mayumi is a total bitch.  She's frustrated by her inability to find love, jealous when others find it, and happy when others break up.  It's pathetic, really. It doesn't take much to make her angry. Anime Hotties: Yaeko Minegasaki

Do you like young professional women?  Do you like women with purple hair?  Do you like Food Wars, but can't find an adult female to drool over?  Well, guess what?  She exists.  Her name is Yaeko Minegasaki. Yaeko Minegasaki isn't that hard to miss.  She's the first REAL threat Soma Yukihira faces in his quest to become a top-class chef.  She an urban planner and, as such, she's the devil.
